There is a winding plot, interesting characters, and a fair amount of backstabbing, but one thing stands out above all the rest. Words. Bad ones, and the sheer creative genius by which they are combined to make new bad words. Of all the movies with excessive profanity, "In the Loop" is the only one that turns swearing into an art. MATM objectified art, and presents the results.
